Alsop Transport Services was established in 1989 and has developed into a Road Haulage Company specialising in the Refrigerated Transport of many foodstuffs and perishables particularly Farmed Shellfish such as Mussels, Oysters etc. All our drivers have the expertise to handle and monitor the product to maintain its condition throughout its journey.

Loads back into Argyll are either refrigerated or general goods carried at ambient temperature.

Alsop Transport Services operate 44 tonne - 18 tonne gross refrigerated vehicles, mainly with dual compartment refrigerated trailers, making the scope of vehicle versatile enough for most customers.

Alsop Transort Services operates a 7.5 tonne furniture van for home delivery, work delivery and building furniture using a two man team on behalf of blue chip companies such as Marks & Spencer.

General haulage can be undertaken using 45ft flat bed trailers, complete with timber pins.

All loads whether in or out of Argyll can be offered on a full or part load basis. We regularly carry part loads on behalf of customers.
